Diphtheria, Tetanus, & Polio Vaccination

You should get your polio, diphtheria and tetanus booster two weeks before travel. If you have had the vaccine before (it is part of the NHS childhood vaccination schedule), you will need one dose as a booster.

The vaccine protects you for 10 years, after which you will require another booster.
